Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon Backs Off Threat to Sue Arizona Over New Immigrant Law

I feel that Phil Gordon should concentrate his efforts on more pressing issues of the city of Phx. and the state of Az. than making a useless issue out of the new immigration law recently passed. As a native of Phoenix I have many hispanic friends as well as many other ethnic backgrounds and nobody I know feels that the new law will promote any racial profiling or impact the state but in a positive manner. Having illegal immigrants here regardless of what their ethnic background is becomes unfair to all legal residents on many different playing fields. If you want to live in Arizona or anywhere else in the United States you need to do it legally. If the law requires that I carry my birth certificate than I will or any other required document. I am of Polish/Russian immigrants who did what needed to be done legally to enter the United States and I expect the same from anyone and everyone else. The concept is not that hard to comprehend Phil
