ON to Settle Lawsuits Threatening Acquisition of Competitor

Arizona Republic:  “ON Semiconductor Corp. plans to settle two shareholder lawsuits that threaten its planned $108 million acquisition of California Micro Devices Corp.  The Phoenix-based chip maker on Tuesday entered a “memorandum of understanding” with the plaintiffs of two lawsuits to settle the civil complaints, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.”
