San Francisco’s food police voted to override the mayor’s veto of its previous ban of the sales of certain foods in San Francisco. The new ordinance prohibits restaurants from selling food that contains more than 600 calories, 640 milligrams of sodium or that has more than 35% of its calories from fat.

Yea team! The U.S. is setting new records. More loss of freedom. Instead of parents making choices for their children, government will do it for them. The Los Angeles Times reports that Santa Clara County, California, is about to ban the sale of food to children when the food is sold in conjunction with kids toys unless the food meets requirements imposed by the Santa Clara County food police.
