Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tucson said that he wants the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to sue to overturn Arizona’s new anti-illegal immigrant law, aka Senate Bill 1070, the Support our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act.
